The wax moth (ognevka or bee moth) is known as the main pest of bees, but it has also proven to be a useful beekeeping product. Even in ancient Egypt, beekeepers used this tincture to promote health and increase their vitality.
What is wax moth tincture?
The wax moth is a nocturnal, gray butterfly from the firefly family. Its larvae lay eggs in the honeycombs and thus harm the offspring of the bees. Despite their role as a pest, the larvae have extraordinary healing powers. The tincture is made from various natural components:
- Amino acids: glutamic acid, aspartic acid
- Biological components: lipase, valine, proline
- Minerals: zinc, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus

Recommended use:
- Testing: Start with one drop and observe for possible allergic reactions.

Increase dosage: If no allergies occur, increase the dosage as follows:
- Day 1: 1 drop
- Day 2: 3 drops
- Day 3: 5 drops
- Day 4: 10 drops
- Day 5: 20 drops
- Maintenance dose: Take 20 drops daily for 30 days. Drink plenty of fluids (ideally 1.5 liters per day).
- Breaks: After one month of taking the medication, take a break of one month, then start again with 20 drops. After the second month of taking the medication, take a break of 6 months, then take it again for one month, alternating.
