Propolis junior

The dosage of Propolis Junior is easy to dose through the pipette and is pleasant and practical to use. As a basis we use the best purified and standardized propolis. You drip Junior directly onto the affected area and it can be used to moisten and soothe the mouth and throat mucosa. Through the antioxidant potential of propolis, the body’s defenses are strengthened and through the mucous membrane to protect against free radicals. Even if this tincture would be swallowed, the alcohol-free junior solution is bedenklos in the application. The propolis tincture is free from synthetic preservatives. Its alcohol-free solution makes it ideal for alcohol-sensitive individuals and children over the age of one.

Propolis is a bee product that has played an important role in folk medicine since ancient times. It itself consists of various resins, which the bees collect from trees such as: Poplars, alders, chestnuts, conifers, etc. and shrubs collect. To this mixture of resins they add wax, pollen and secretions, and with this paste they putty their hive. In this way it is possible for a whole colony of bees to live together in a very confined space at about 36°C and high humidity. Under these conditions, it is ideal conditions for the spread of pests such as bacteria, viruses and fungi, but the bees prevent this by sealing with propolis, thus inhibiting or even killing bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms introduced or present in the hive in their development. As, for example, the inside of the honeycomb cells for the brood, which is covered with a very thin film of propolis. Foreign bodies or debris already present in the hive or which cannot be removed by the bees are also coated with this substance. The quality of propolis depends not only on the variety of plants, but also on how it is detached from the frames, bars, collecting grids and from the inner walls of the hives, and on how the beekeeper handles his colonies. Propolis used for human or cosmetic purposes must be clean, i.e. any splinters, insecticides or pesticides should be removed. Furthermore, there should be no bee residues. It is also important that the beekeeper refrains from using poison strips or antibiotic treatments in his beekeeping. Since propolis together with wax readily binds pollutants. However, the environment as well as its care by humans is also decisive for the quality of a bee product such as propolis.

Application recommendation
Shake briefly before each use. Add 8-12 pipette drops to a glass of lukewarm water (approx. 50 ml) to moisten and soothe the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, rinse and/or gargle, or apply undiluted using a cotton swab. Apply diluted or undiluted to affected areas several times daily as needed for relief and moisturization. Propolis JUNIOR can be used as an accompanying measure for irritations of the mucous membranes and skin for a period of 7 to 10 days. If there is no improvement in the symptoms, a doctor should be consulted.

Contraindications
Propolis JUNIOR must not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, which is accompanied by pronounced hypersensitivity to propolis. Propolis JUNIOR should also not be applied directly to open wounds.
